  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package (14 oz) refrigerated pie crusts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion for 3-4 minutes until softened; add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Add ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Stir in spices and seasonings until browned.
  4. Remove from heat; mix in cheddar cheese until melted.
  5. Roll out pie crusts on a floured surface and cut into 4-inch circles.
  6. Place a spoonful of filling onto each circle, fold over, and seal edges with a fork.
  7. Brush tops with beaten egg and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
