  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 ounce onion soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, gently crumble the ground beef. Add breadcrumbs, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, beaten egg, salt, black pepper, and milk. Mix until just combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the glaze ingredients: ketchup, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar. Spread half of this mixture on the bottom of a meatloaf pan.
  4. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in the pan. Coat the top with the remaining glaze.
  5. Bake for approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Let rest for five minutes before slicing.
