Instructions

  2. Drain excess moisture from pumpkin puree using paper towels.
  3. Whisk together flour, spice blend, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  4. In another bowl, combine cooled brown butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup; mix in egg yolk and pumpkin puree.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Chill dough for at least 8 hours in the refrigerator.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
