  • 4 carrots
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup red apple vinegar (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Trim excess fat from the beef and chop vegetables into uniform pieces. Season the beef with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the beef until browned on all sides.
