  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 ⅓ cups granulated sugar (for egg whites)

Instructions

  4. Gradually add 1 ⅓ cups sugar in four additions, beating well after each.
  5. Gently fold in the flour mixture in four additions using a large metal spoon.
  6. Pour batter into an ungreased 10-inch tube pan; cut through batter with a spatula to remove air pockets.
