  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cut the zucchinis into 2-inch long pieces and slice each piece into 6 wedges.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the zucchini and onion to the skillet; sauté for about 2 minutes until they begin to soften.
  4. Stir in teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, crushed red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 4 to 5 minutes until tender.
