Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 lbs flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh-squeezed juice (like orange or lemon)
  • 1 tablespoon gluten-free Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, fresh juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and olive oil to create the marinade.
  2. Trim any excess fat from the flank steak. Place it in a Ziploc bag and pour in the marinade. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 8 hours (or overnight for best flavor).
  3. Preheat your grill to high heat (450-500°F). Allow the marinated steak to come to room temperature while the grill heats up.
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade, letting excess liquid drip off. Grill for about 3 minutes on one side until grill marks appear, then rotate for another 3 minutes before flipping.
  5. Cook on the other side for about 4-5 minutes until medium rare (130°F). Let rest covered with foil for 5-10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
