  • lbs large shrimp
  • ¼ head red cabbage
  • 1 large mango
  • 1 medium ripe avocado
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 12 tbsp lime juice
  • ¼½ tsp chipotle powder
  • Small corn tortillas

Instructions

  1. Marinate shrimp with spices (chipotle powder, smoked paprika, ancho chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, ground cumin, epozote or thyme, sugar, and salt) for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Mix diced mango, shredded cabbage, lime juice, sugar, and salt in a bowl for the slaw; let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Blend avocado with Greek yogurt, garlic cloves, lime juice, and jalapeño until smooth.
  4. Cook marinated shrimp in a skillet over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes until opaque.
  5. Warm corn tortillas over an open flame or in a low oven.
  6. Assemble tacos with avocado crema on each tortilla topped with shrimp and mango slaw.
