  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup strawberry jam or preserves
  • 1 cup fresh chopped strawberries
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tbsp strawberry puree or juice
  • 1 tbsp milk (as needed for consistency)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Fresh halved strawberries (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease three 8-inch cake pans.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually add sugar and beat well.
  3. Incorporate eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract. Mix in sifted cake flour and salt until just combined.
  4. Divide the batter among the prepared pans and bake for 30-40 minutes. Cool in pans before transferring to a wire rack.
  5. For the filling, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold in powdered sugar and vanilla. Combine with softened cream cheese and strawberry jam, followed by fresh strawberries.
