2 cups sliced strawberries
1/2 red onion (thinly sliced)
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup feta cheese crumbles
1/2 cup glazed pecans
4 slices turkey bacon (cooked and crumbled)
2 grilled chicken breasts (sliced)
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
3/4 cup olive oil
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
1/4 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
To prepare the dressing, whisk together apple cider vinegar, honey, white sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Gradually add olive oil while whisking until well combined.
For the glazed pecans, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water, white sugar, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to create a boiling mixture. Add pecans and stir for 30 seconds to coat. Transfer to a greased baking sheet and bake for 12–14 minutes until golden brown.
In a large salad bowl, combine mixed greens, sliced strawberries, red onion, dried cranberries, feta cheese crumbles, grilled chicken slices, crumbled turkey bacon, and glazed pecans. Drizzle with dressing before serving.
