  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese crumbles
  • 1/2 cup glazed pecans
  • 4 slices turkey bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 2 grilled chicken breasts (sliced)
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. To prepare the dressing, whisk together apple cider vinegar, honey, white sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Gradually add olive oil while whisking until well combined.
  2. For the glazed pecans, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water, white sugar, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to create a boiling mixture. Add pecans and stir for 30 seconds to coat. Transfer to a greased baking sheet and bake for 12–14 minutes until golden brown.
  3. In a large salad bowl, combine mixed greens, sliced strawberries, red onion, dried cranberries, feta cheese crumbles, grilled chicken slices, crumbled turkey bacon, and glazed pecans. Drizzle with dressing before serving.
